Hazelnuts have a rich, decadent aroma that pairs especially well with chocolate, if the international empire of a certain sugary spread suggests. Gently roasted hazelnuts bring wonderfully toasty notes to this delicious nut milk.
Ingredients
- Raw or dry-roasted, shelled hazelnuts
- 1 1/2 cups for SoyaJoy
- 1 1/4 cups for SoyaPower
- Water
The SoyaJoy yields about 7 cups of milk, and the SoyaPower yields about 5.5 cups
Instructions
- Soak the shelled hazelnuts for 6 hours, or overnight
- Add hazelnuts to machine, and add drinking water up to between the lines
- Close machine, power on, and press “Raw”
- Relax.
- When the cycle finishes, strain the milk by pouring through a sieve or cheesecloth
- Add flavorings or sweeteners to taste.
- Enjoy!
